The Thursday night contest between the Packers and 49ers appears it will go on, despite uncertainty due to COVID-19.
The 49ers shut down their facility Wednesday after a positive test, while the Packers have lost AJ Dillon, Kamal Martin and Jamaal Williams for at least this week because of the virus.
The Packers are expected to make the trip out west on Wednesday.
“If they’re going to go through and put you on a plane and have you go out there, they should hope that you’re going to actually play,” said former Packer and current ESPN Wisconsin host Mark Tauscher. “You’re going to be really irritated–I assure you–if everybody goes out there and there’s no game.”
Both teams are also dealing with a slew of injuries.

The Packers and 49ers kick off at 7:20 p.m. Thursday. Coverage on WTMJ begins with Opening Drive starting at 4 p.m.
