The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a suspect in the shooting death of a 41-year-old man on Friday, Oct. 30.
Joshua Terry was shot and killed along I-43 near the Town of Port Washington after his vehicle and the suspect’s vehicle made minor contact, which sparked an altercation between the two.
The sheriff’s office says Terry entered the northbound lanes of I-43 from State Highway 32 in the Town of Grafton around 6:36 p.m.
Investigators believe a group of four or five vehicles were also seen in the vicinity. They say Terry was traveling below the posted speed limit.
The sheriff is also asking for information regarding a witness vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed immediately after the incident.
That vehicle exited at County Highway H in Port Washington and came to an abrupt stop at the top of the ramp, almost striking a vehicle that was headed south on County Highway H.
The driver then went south along I-43.
A photo of Terry’s vehicle is posted below.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office at 262-284-7172.
