Several fire departments responded to a rescue call at Lions Den Gorge Nature Preserve Saturday, August 1, 2020.
The Village of Grafton Fire Department says they got word around 12:54 p.m. of a 24-year-old woman who fell about 40 feet down a bluff and received injuries.
Crews from Grafton, Port Washington, Mequon and Waubeka responded with ropes, a UTV and other equipment to rescue the woman and two others who tried to assist her.
The injured woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
