Milwaukee Police involved in a vehicle pursuit turned deadly accident on Milwaukee’s far north side Monday evening.
Officers say they attempted to stop a 40-year-old man who was wanted for his role in an alleged domestic violence situation. The suspect fled the scene.
Police pursued for roughly three minutes before the suspect vehicle lost control and crashed into another car near Highland and 27th.
A pregnant woman was a passenger in the vehicle that was hit. Her unborn child died as a result of the crash.
She sustained serious injuries, but is in stable condition.
Three others were in the car that was struck, all are expected to be okay.
The suspect was arrested shortly after the crash.
