A Milwaukee high school teacher is facing charges of human sex trafficking after bringing a woman and her child from the Philippines after meeting on a website called AsianDating.com.
Christian Mothershead is a Mandarin teacher at Hamilton High School. The criminal complaint alleges he promised the woman a better life in America, but when she got here, she says it was anything but.
She accuses Mothershead of treating her and her child like “servents”. Mothershead is charged with two counts of human trafficking and one count of sexual assualt.
Mothershead denies the allegations, and told TODAY’s TMJ4’s Tom Durian “they’re all lies.”
He has been put on unpaid leave pending a resolution to the case.
