Before jurors reached the end of their first day of deliberations, two brewers have reportedly reached a settlement over a contract dispute.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Pabst Brewing and MillerCoors told a judge they’ve come to an agreement, but terms have not been made immediately available.
Pabst filed a lawsuit against parent company MillerCoors after Miller said they wanted to part ways with several years left on their contract to brew beers like Schlitz and Pabst Blue Ribbon.
The Pabst CEO testified that if the contract wasn’t extended to make their beers the company might go out of business.
