Reports say a fourth and fifth coach are being added to the list of interviews the Green Bay Packers will be conducting this week in the search for someone to replace Mike McCarthy.
Nashville sports reporter Paul Kuharsky reports that the Packers will interview Titans offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur on Sunday. Additionally, Patriots defensive assistant Brian Flores has his interview scheduled for Friday as well, per ESPN’s Rob Demovsky.
Interim Packers coach Joe Philbin confirmed Monday he would be interviewing for the job this week along with conducting end-of-season assessments.
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com already reported that Josh McDaniels, who has the offensive coordinator’s role in New England, will interview Friday with the Packers.
Tom Pelissero of NFL Network also reported that the Packers would talk with Dan Campbel, the assistant head coach of the New Orleans Saints.
The Packers have already reportedly talked with former NFL coaches Jim Caldwell and Chuck Pagano about the job. In total, there are nine candidates whom the Packers are reportedly interviewing or have asked permission to talk to.
