16th coronavirus death in Milwaukee County

Update: 1:33 p.m.

The death toll is now 16 in Milwaukee County from coronavirus, based on the latest update from the county.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s office says a 78-year-old woman died at 8:05 this morning due to complications of COVID-19.

Two other deaths were not yet listed by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner.

The state gave an update Wednesday afternoon on the total tests, deaths, hospitalizations and negative tests in Wisconsin.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s office says there has been a 13th coronavirus death in the county.

They say an 89-year-old man passed away at about 6:25 a.m. Wednesday morning.

There are now 776 coronavirus cases in Milwaukee County.
