President Donald Trump’s Campaign has filed a lawsuit with the Wisconsin Supreme Court, trying to get them to throw out the results of the November 3rd election.
According to court documents, the suit was filed this morning by attorney’s George Burnette and James Troupis.
The suit alleges that thousands of ballots in Wisconsin should be tossed out because they were either filled out incorrectly or were collected illegally.
Canvassing and recount results were certified by the Wisconsin Election’s Commission and Governor Tony Evers on Monday. Those results showed that Democrat Joe Biden defeated President Trump by about 20,700 votes.
Last month the Trump campaign paid roughly $3,000,000 for a partial recount of ballots in Milwaukee and Dane Counties. Those recounts wrapped up on Friday and Sunday respectively.
The Supreme Court has not said if it will hear the campaigns case.
