There will be two UW-Madison freshman competing to fill an already campus-dominated District 8 as reported by WISC-TV.
Current alderman Zach Wood, who has held the position since 2015 announced earlier this week via Facebook post that he will not seek re-election this upcoming term.
Meet candidates 19 year old Avra Reddy, and 18 tyear old Matthew Mitnick. Both taking to social media to announce their run for the eventual vacant alderman spot.
