GREEN BAY, Wis. — The 2025 NFL draft in Green Bay exceeded economic expectations.
According to an economic impact report, the draft generated nearly $105 million across Wisconsin.
In Brown County alone, spending reached nearly $73 million — that’s $50 million more than an estimated $20 million initially expected.
Local businesses in and around Green Bay especially benefited from that spending.
“There was money being spent throughout our community,” Discover Green Bay CEO Brian Toll said. “It wasn’t just at restaurants or hotels. . . there were dollars spent in places that we had not anticipated.”
More than 360,000 visitors came to Green Bay for the three-day event April 24-26.
The NFL says the Green Bay draft was the second most-watched draft in league history, with an average of 7.5 million viewers each night. The final night was the most watched Day 3 on record, with 4.3 million viewers.
