MILWAUKEE — A violent start to the weekend in Milwaukee, as five separate shootings have two people with serious injuries and one person dead.
According to MPD, the fatal shooting happened Saturday morning just before 6 a.m. A 31-year-old Milwaukee man was killed near 5th and Keefe. Police do not have any suspects in custody.
A 50-year-old Milwaukee woman sustained non life threatening injuries after she was shot on the 2300 N. 18th Street. The victim was exiting her vehicle when shots were fired and was subsequently struck. No suspects are in custody.
A 31-year-old Milwaukee man has serious injuries after he was shot near the intersection of Appleton and Hampton around 2 a.m. Saturday. Police are searching for unknown suspects.
A 20-year-old Milwaukee man has serious injuries after he was shot and a man tried to hit him with his car. The shooting happened near 27th and Burleigh and a 37-year-man is the suspect not in custody.
A 40-year-old Milwaukee man has non life threatening injuries after being shot near 18th and Rodgers just before 5 a.m.
