Ahead of Mother's Day, Christian Yelich has penned a special letter to his mother which will resonate with all baseball moms.
The letter in The Players' Tribune starts with the sentence, “I almost quit the game of baseball a while back.”
It goes on to detail how a bribe from his mom and constant words of enouragement led him to be the MVP outfielder we know today.
