The title of ‘Best Cheese’ is going back across the Atlantic.
A gruyere from Mountain Dairy in Switzerland was crowned the winner of the World Championship Cheese Contest, held this week in Madison.
The 2020 competition included a record-breaking 3,667 entries, including cheesemakers from 26 nations and 36 states across the United States.
Contest Judge Dominique Delugeau was in the WTMJ Studios Friday morning to show off the winning cheese.
