Tiny homes project looks to expand to Milwaukee

A successful tiny house project in Racine, aimed at getting veterans out of homelessness, could be recreated in Milwaukee.  

Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin is seeking approval to buy seven acres from the city of Milwaukee to build about 40 tiny houses on city-owned Bacher Farms on N. 60th, north of Mill Rd.  

WTMJ’s Jane Matenaer spoke with Outreach Executive Director Jeff Gustin about the effort.
