Ho-Chunk Nation Museum and Cultural Center – Tomah
The Ho-Chunk Nation Museum and Cultural Center opened in January 2020 and offers exhibits featuring the history and culture of the Ho-Chunk Nation.
- The Museum and Cultural Center will allow the Ho-Chunk Nation to tell its own story in its own space with various exhibits and classes. It is open from 9am to 3pm every day and admission is free.
- The museum’s first exhibit features the work of Ho-Chunk watercolor painter Clarence Boyd Monegar. The landscape art reflects the natural beauty of Central Wisconsin.
Twig’s Sun Drop University Museum – Shawano
Twig’s Sun Drop University Museum is a destination full of sweet fun for the entire family.
- Twig’s Beverage was founded in 1951, specializing in producing craft soda in old fashioned glass bottles. Shortly after opening, Twig’s Beverage became one of the first producers and distributors of Sun Drop.
- In 2015, Twig’s opened the Sun Drop University Museum, paying homage to the history and tradition of Wisconsin’s family-owned craft soda. Visitors can learn about the history of Sun Drop and Twig’s Beverage while enjoying complementary popcorn and sampling sodas!
Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts – Cedarburg
Experience a time-honored tradition that transcends time at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts in historic downtown Cedarburg.
- Visitors can learn about quilting, weaving, embroidery and knitting or simply enjoy the process and the storytelling of the Museums beautiful display of quilts and fabrics.
- The museum creates, preserves and displays cultural quilting treasures reflecting the historic and social importance of the art. They also feature the beautiful works of talented Wisconsin quilters.
