One of the Summerfest shows at American Family Insurance Amphitheater for this summer’s originally-planned festival is being pushed back about a year due to coronavirus.
Dave Matthews Band’s 2020 tour is being re-scheduled for 2021, including the Summerfest show being moved to July 1, 2021.
“We are disappointed to announce, that in light of the global COVID-19 pandemic, we will be moving all of our 2020 summer dates to the summer of 2021. We make this decision with the health, safety, and well-being of our fans, touring crew, and venue staff as our priority,” the band said in a prepared statement.
“Your previously purchased tickets will be honored for these rescheduled performances…we are also providing fans with the option to refund your tickets at the point of purchase.”
Summerfest has moved its 2020 festival to the first three Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays of 2020, and is working to find artists who will play at the festival during that time.
