With a home Milwaukee Bucks game and a presidential rally just blocks apart in Milwaukee Tuesday night, local EMS services say it’s not exactly a unique challenge.
“By nature of the jobs we do, we are always prepared,” said Executive Director of Wisconsin’s EMS Association, Marc Cohen.
That’s not to say preparing for the thousands downtown doesn’t require effective collaboration.
“Since 9/11, there’s been a much greater effort on coordinating law enforcement, fire and EMS,” Cohen told WTMJ. “The communications they thought were working well between all the agencies really wasn’t.”
