Wisconsin saw its smallest positive COVID-19 test percentage in the last two weeks, Tuesday. The low percentage came two days after the state’s highest test percentage.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports that 2.2% of all COVID-19 tests performed over the last 24 hours have come back positive. On Sunday, 4.6 percent of all test results were positive, the largest one-day percentage since June 9, meaning that over the last two days, the rate of positive tests in Wisconsin dropped by more than half.
In terms of raw numbers, of the 11,531 tests performed over this most recent 24-hour period, 263 came back with positive diagnosis.
Since the pandemic began, 25,331 people have had confirmed cases of coronavirus in Wisconsin; 750 of those cases have been fatal.
