MILWAUKEE – Good Karma Brands is pleased to announce the 8th Annual Wisconsin Sports Awards event will be held at Fiserv Forum.
The event, which will be on Thursday, June 6, is an annual celebration of Wisconsin’s high school, collegiate and professional athletic achievements from the previous year.
“Each time Wisconsin sports seemingly reaches a new peak, the players and teams seem to raise the bar and this year is no different,” said Good Karma Brands Founder and Chief Executive Officer Craig Karmazin.
“This event is a best-in-class experience celebrating our state’s athletes, coaches, executives and marketers, and it is only fitting for it to be held in a world class venue.”
The Wisconsin Sports Awards has seen appearances by Aaron Rodgers, Craig Counsell, Barry Alvarez, Mark Tauscher, Herb Kohler, Marc Lasry, Wes Edens, and many more prominent Wisconsin athletes, coaches and executives.
If there is a conflict with the NBA Finals, the Wisconsin Sports Awards will be held in an alternate venue.
In addition, the 8th Annual Wisconsin Sports Awards will spotlight Cousins Subs® and its Make It Better Foundation as they present $20,000 in scholarships to four Wisconsin high school senior athletes in addition to presenting the “Cousins Subs Homegrown Athlete of the Year” award.
Over the years, Cousins Subs and its Make It Better Foundation has awarded $100,000 in scholarships to 24 high school student-athletes throughout Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Sports Awards was created and is produced by Good Karma Brands, the parent company of WTMJ.
