The Green Bay Packers announced three changes to their coaching and football operations staff, adding a coach who is from Sturgeon Bay.
The team said it is promoting Luke Getsy to a quarterbacks and passing game coordinator role, while giving the wide receivers coaching job to Jason Vrable.
The Packers are also naming Butch Barry as a senior analyst.
Getsy has five years experience with the Packers, from 2014-17 as an offensive quality control coach and a wide receivers coach, and in 2019 assisting Aaron Rodgers in his return to Pro Bowl status. Getsy was with Mississippi State in 2018 as an offensive coordinator and receivers coach.
Vrable is in his second year with Green Bay after being an offensive assistant last year. He had previously coached with the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills.
Barry was the University of Miami (Fla.) offensive line coach last year, and was an assistant offensive line coach from 2015-18. He is from Sturgeon Bay.
