Tuesday morning has been fast and furious at 1265 Lombardi Avenue.
After word broke that the Packers are reportedly adding Bears safety Adrian Amos and edge rusher Za-Darius Smith, ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reports the Packers are also set to sign Washington edge rusher Preston Smith.
His colleague at ESPN, Josina Anderson, says Smith will make $13 million a year for four years.
Smith, 26, has started every game the last three seasons for Washington. Last year, he had 53 total tackles, four sacks, an interception and a fumble recovery.
His best years in the pass rush department came in 2015 and 2017, when he had eight sacks in each season.
