KENOSHA, Wis. — One person was arrested after a security incident at a pumpkin farm in Kenosha on Friday.
According to Jerry Smith Pumpkin Farm, their on-site security team detained a person on the evening of Oct. 9 until Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived and took the person into custody.
“We are incredibly grateful for the professionalism and swift response of our security personnel and the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office,” the farm said in a post on Facebook. “The safety and well-being of our guests, employees, and community have always been, and will continue to be, our highest priority. We take all security concerns seriously and remain committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment for everyone who visits our farm.”
No one was hurt during the incident and it’s unclear exactly what the security concern was.
