Jones faces six felonies in substitute teacher case
Jones is also facing five felony charges connected to allegations she impersonated a substitute teacher at Rufus King International High School in Milwaukee.
Prosecutors allege Jones entered the school on Sept. 24, claimed she worked for a substitute teaching company and was assigned to a classroom despite not being an authorized substitute.
Students later reported that she made inappropriate sexual comments, used racial slurs and made insulting remarks about students.
Jones was charged with one misdemeanor count of impersonating a public employee and five felony counts of exposing a child to harmful descriptions. She was released on a $5,000 signature bond earlier this week and ordered to have no contact with the school or students identified in the complaint.
The vehicle theft investigation has been referred to the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office for review.
