MILWAUKEE— A 17-year-old was killed in a shooting on Milwaukee’s north side Saturday night, and police arrested a 14-year-old in connection with the case.
Milwaukee police say the shooting happened around 9:40 p.m. Oct. 10, near 39th and Lisbon Street. The teenager suffered a gunshot wound and died at the scene.
Investigators have not released details about what led to the shooting.
Separate shooting injures 40-year-old
In a separate incident later Saturday night, a 40-year-old was shot near 27th Street and Oklahoma Avenue.
Police say officers responded around 11:50 p.m. The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
A 26-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with that shooting. Both investigations remain ongoing.
