Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and Milwaukee Election Commission Executive Director Claire Woodall-Vogg are providing an update on the election process.
Mayor Barrett says there have been no issues so far and that lines at polling places in the city remained relatively short as of 3:30 p.m.
“Our message, our very strong message, is that there are no lines right now and you could not have a more beautiful day to get out there and vote. So, if you have been on the fence about whether you want to vote, if somehow you have not received 7,000 phone calls in the last three weeks and escaped that, this is your chance to get out there and cast your vote to be a part of our democracy,” Barrett said.
