Due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, the City of Waukesha has chosen to only open one polling place for the April 7 presidential primary and local general election in Wisconsin.
The city says that people can come to cast ballots Tuesday from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. at Schuetze Recreation Center, 1120 Baxter Street. Voters must bring voter ID to the polls, and can register same-day with proper documentation.
The city says voters can request absentee ballots through Thursday by clicking here. They can either mail in their ballot or drop it off Monday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Schuetze Recreation Center
