It will be another year of waiting for Leroy Butler to join the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The former Packers safety sharing on social media that he didn’t get a knock on his hotel door from Hall of Fame President David Baker, as is customary for new inductees, but a phone call as deliberations were ongoing for selecting the Class of 2020.

This was the first year Butler was named a finalist to the Pro Football Hall of Fame since his retirement after the 2001 season.
The Class of 2020 will be announced during the NFL Honors program Saturday evening.
The Packers do have one new inductee into the Hall of Fame thanks to their Centennial Class. 50’s era safety Bobby Dillon was one of 10 players making up this special class that will join the hall in August.
