The Milwaukee County District Attorney has charged a man from Waterford with having sex with six people while HIV-positive.
Jason Taufner, 42, faces six counts of recklessly endangering safety. If convicted on all counts, he faces up to 84 years in prison.
The criminal complaint says one of his victims has tested HIV-positive since having sex with him.
Taufner, who worked at a tattoo shop in West Allis, had allegedly met four of his victims there. The complaint says that each time he had sex with those victims, he did not disclose his HIV-positive status.
Taufner had been convicted of two similar counts, yet released under extended supervision in March of 2015.
