After nearly two months of executive orders, a lawsuit and layers of disagreement between the Democratic-controlled executive branch and Republican-controlled legislative branch of Wisconsin government, the two sides are going to finally meet about the state’s coronavirus outbreak – one day before a lawsuit is expected to be heard over how it’s being handled.

The rare meeting of the leaders comes day before state Supreme Court arguments in GOP lawsuit to block Evers order
Late last week, strategists from both the Republican and Democratic side called for such a meeting, one which both Evers and GOP leaders like Speaker Robin Vos had said they were willing to do, but had not yet done so.
