Due to an accidental leak of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament bracket on a major cable network, Marquette’s women’s basketball squad found out its opponent and the location for its first round game.
According to the leak which the NCAA confirmed, Marquette is a five seed in the Chicago Region and will face Rice University in the first round of the tournament in College Station, Texas on Friday at 1 p.m.
If Marquette wins, it will play either 4th-seeded Texas A&M or Wright State in the second round on Sunday.
