American Family Insurance will place its name on the stadium for 15 years, but the name has not yet been announced.
The company’s offer to the Brewers was reportedly “incredibly rich,” according to the Milwaukee Business Journal, a WTMJ news partner.
The move is much in line with the recent naming rights purchases American Family Insurance has made across the state.
Reaction to the move was emotional on social media as the news broke.
Madison-based American Family Insurance has also recently bought the naming rights to the main amphitheater at the Summerfest Grounds.
The move may prompt numerous related changes, one of which could include the north-south freeway which borders Miller Park. It is currently called Miller Park Way.
Miller says, however, it expects to still have a presence at Brewers games.
