We’re less than three weeks away from the Democratic National Convention.
Now, we’re learning more details about what the four-day event will look like.
The party will kick off Monday, August 17th with an opening ceremony that will include a yet-to-be-specified group of speakers.
The second night of the convention will look much the same as the first. Committee meetings during the day, before speakers begin about 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday things start to ramp up quite a bit. That’s the day when the party will elect the VP nominee. Joe Biden is expected to make his VP pick within the next week to ten days.
Thursday night is the night the party’s been waiting for. That’s when Joe Biden is expected to accept the nomination and address supporters. Party Chairman Tom Perez tells ABC News he expects the former Vice President to accept that nomination in person in Milwaukee.
