The Brewers acquired RHP Jordan Lyles Monday.
“He’s likely going to start the game Wednesday for us here in Oakland,” Manager Craig Counsell tells WTMJ. “We need starting pitching right now.”
Counsell says Lyles will help fill a gap in their upcoming road-trip.
“He was scheduled to start yesterday actually for Pittsburgh, so he will start for us Wednesday. Adrian Houser is going to start for us tonight.”
