The stands at Lambeau Field will be empty for at least two games when the Packers kick off their 2020 season.
The announcement made Thursday cites the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact throughout the state and throughout the country.
The team will reevaluate plans after the first two games and decide whether to allow fans inside Lambeau Field for the rest of the season.
Green Bay hosts the Detroit Lions for their home opener Sunday, Sept. 20. Their second home game comes Monday, Oct. 5 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Lambeau Field will not host fans during the first two home games this season.
