A top star for Whitnall High School and the University of Kentucky basketball team is throwing his name in the hat for the NBA Draft, but keeping his options open.
Kentucky freshman Tyler Herro shared this message on social media Friday, saying he will declare for the draft, but is not yet 100 percent committing to turning pro.

He said that if his pre-draft evaluations don’t put him among the top picks, he will return to the Wildcats for at least his sophomore season.
The NBA Draft will be held in late June.
