Don’t overlook the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Green Bay Packers certainly aren’t.
Despite being just 3-7-1, Philly finds itself in the middle of a race for a division championship.
“They’re still in the thick of it in their division,” LaFleur tells WTMJ. “They’ve lost three games by less than one score, and then, they also tied a game. You look at that, that’s a 4-game swing. Now, you’re dealing with a 7-win team.”
LaFleur also lauds the Eagles’ front-7 on defense, calling them a “hard-charging, penetrating defense.”
Luckily, the Packers will have a new offensive weapon at their disposal.
Speedy wide receiver Tavon Austin joins the team this week.
“He’s an explosive athlete…We’ll see how fast he can pick up what we’re trying to do offensively.”
Kickoff from Lambeau on Sunday is set for 3:25p. Coverage on WTMJ starts at Noon.
