Sunday marked one month since Jayme Closs escaped from captivity in northern Wisconsin.
“Folks are getting back to normal,” News Director at WJMC Radio in Rice Lake tells WTMJ.
The anniversary comes just days after Jake Patterson, the man accused of kidnapping her and murdering her parents, made his latest court appearance.
“Mostly it was a motion by the defense to waive the preliminary hearing and setting up an arraignment day, which will be coming up on March 27.”
Duncan adds that though the crime still remains in the back of everyone’s mind, pictures shared through social media seem to indicate that Jayme is doing well.
