- Art in the Park brings together more than 120 art exhibitors in Marathon Park to showcase pottery, wearable art, paintings, photography, and more. A children’s art & craft area offers free activities and children’s book reading sessions.Â
- Festival of Arts, taking place in Wausau’s Historic River District, offers a festive browse-and-buy atmosphere that includes live music on two stages. Families can participate in children’s art activities in the Family Art tent.
- This weekend also marks the start of the 44th-annual Birds in Art exhibition at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum. The exhibit showcases paintings, graphics and sculptures created by more than 100 artists from around the world, all bringing a unique perspective to their passion for birds.Â
