MILWAUKEE — Attention Milwaukee Commuters! Heads-up! The Wisconsin DOT is closing a BIG portion of I-894 for the last of a series of 54 hour closures as part of the ongoing Hale Interchange project.
Up until now, the Milwaukee driving public has done a great job navigating through this major closure. We just have one more weekend to go.
Starting Friday, October 10 at 11pm, the Southbound lanes will be shut down between Greenfield and the Hale interchange until Monday, October 13th at 5:30am. This closure will include the Westbound to Southbound and Eastbound to Southbound ramps in the Zoo interchange.

Using Hwy 100 will be the posted detour. As usual, all the work is weather dependent and is subject to change.

You can visit the DOT’s Project Update site here for more details.
