The 2020 gun deer hunting season will be unlike any other. As COVID-19 cases surge, many hunters will head to the woods with caution.
“The biggest change this year is going to be the worldwide pandemic we find ourselves in,” Paul Smith, the Journal Sentinel’s Outdoor Editor, told WTMJ’s Steve Scaffidi. “I have heard overwhelmingly from hunters who are planning to do things with safety in mind.”
Finding deer shouldn’t be a problem, according to Smith.
“The deer population is strong,” he explained. “If you’re a deer hunter and you want to see deer. Conditions are very good.”
