HARTFORD — The Hartford Police Departments is investigating a possible child enticement that occurred around 3:40 p.m. Friday.
According to the complaint, two siblings were walking home from Lincoln Elementary School when they were confronted by a man near E. Monroe and Wheelock Avenues.
The man got out of his car, a small-sized, black, four-door sedan, amd asked the young boy if he wanted candy from his rear trunk area of his vehicle. When the boy said no, the boy’s sister grabbed her brother’s hand and walked away. The man then got back in to his car and left.
Neither child was harmed, however officers are actively following up on information related to this encounter.
