The newest Marquette University Law School poll says that President Donald Trump would be in neck-and-neck one or two-point races against five different Democratic Presidential candidates.
In each of these potential races, an incredibly small margin exists:
– Former Vice President Joe Biden leads the President 47% to 46%.
– President Trump leads Senator Bernie Sanders 47% to 45%.
– The President leads Senator Elizabeth Warren 45% to 44%.
– President Trump leads South Bend, Ind. Mayor Pete Buttigieg 44% to 43%.
– The President leads Senator Corey Booker 44% to 43%.
Among Democratic primary voters, Biden is the first choice of 23%, followed by Sanders 19%, Warren 16%, Buttigieg 15%, Booker 4%. Bloomberg 3%, Yang 3%, Klobuchar 3%, Gabbard 1%, all others less than 0.5%.

Additionally, a double digit margin, a majority of registered voters oppose the idea of President Trump’s impeachment and removal from office.
52 percent in the poll oppose the President’s impeachment and removal, while 40 eprcent approve of it.
That is about the same as the November poll, when 40 percent approved while 53 percent opposed.
The survey was conducted Dec. 3-8, 2019, after the conclusion of public testimony before the House Intelligence Committee. The House Judiciary Committee heard testimony from four constitutional scholars on Dec. 4, during the field period for the survey.

The poll results also say that few people’s opinions changed about the Ukraine issues leading to impeachment hearings since public testimony happened.
The poll says that 42 percent believe the President “did something seriously wrong in his dealings with Ukraine, while 37 percent said Trump did nothing wrong.
800 registered voters participated between December 3-8.
