Milwaukee Police need assistance in trying to find a suspect who tried to set a tavern on fire March 23, 2019.
Surveillance video shows the suspect entering the business on the 700 block of West Layton Avenue around 11:30 p.m. He was forced to leave after he and others were found to be underage.
The suspect is spotted returning to the business, but this time he poured what appears to be gasoline on the front door and then lighting it on fire. He then ran from the scene with a red gas can. The owner of the business was able to extinguish it and call police.

The suspect is described as a white male with black low cut hair, clean-shaven and having a slim build. He was last seen wearing a blue colored Nike zip up hoodie, with the Nike sign on the upper left side of his chest, black pants and black shoes.
