The Green Bay Packers have signed a new defensive lineman for their roster, someone who has had spot starting duty for a pair of NFL teams.
The team announced they have agreed to a contract with Treyvon Hester.
Hester has started two games in his 41 appearances in a three-year NFL career. In total, he has 40 tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
His tenure includes:
– 2017: Oakland (14 games, 1 start)
– 2018: Philadelphia (12 games, 1 start)
– 2019: Washington (15 games)
He is most well known for tipping the field goal attempt Cody Parkey missed in the 2018 NFC Wild Card game, leading to the Bears’ season ending in “double doink” fashion. (4:35 in the video)
