In an historic 18 game inning at Miller Park, The Brewers and Mets battled it out in a game that will be rememberd for the rest of the season and beyond.Â
Brewers had a 2-1 lead going into the ninth inning when Mets first basement Pete Alonzo sends a solo home-run to the visitor's bullpen off of Junior Guerra.
Then, a few innings went by. In fact, a whole nother full 9 innings passed before another run came across the board.
In the 18th inning, Jeff McNeil hit a ground ball to left field which scored  Adeiny Hechavarria and spelled sudden death for the Brewers.
Enter Ryan Braun. The veteran outfielder accumulated 5 total hits on the evening came up to a one out bases loaded situation. And. He. Delivered. A base hit to right field brought in Eric Thames and Yasmani Grandal to take a 4-3 walk-off win.Â
It was the most innings ever played inside Miller Park to date, and another memorable bullet point in the legendary resume that will be Ryan Braun in a Brewers uniform.Â
