Yelich is in second place among outfielders, with three starting outfielders to be selected. The Brewers’ Mike Moustakas is behind Ozzie Albies of Atlanta at second base.
Grandal made a major one-week jump to reach third place among catchers.
Yelich is the second-highest vote getter so far for the All-Star Game, behind Cody Bellinger of Los Angeles.
