The Houston Astros have taken their own disciplinary steps after the suspension of their general manager and manager, firing both of them according to a long list of reports.

A report says that the men running the baseball operations in the front office and on the field for the Houston Astros won’t get to do so in 2020.
ESPN’s Jeff Passan reports this about Jeff Luhnow and A.J. Hinch:
BREAKING: Houston Astros GM Jeff Luhnow and manager AJ Hinch have been suspended for one year after an MLB investigation found the team used technology to cheat during its World Series-winning 2017 season, sources familiar with the punishment tell ESPN.

Additionally, MLB will fine the Astros $5 million and take away their first- and second-round picks in the 2020 and 2021 drafts, sources tell ESPN.

The Athletic reported recently that the Astros allegedly stole signs during home games of their 2017 World Series championship season by using a camera positioned in center field.
Brewers GM David Stearns worked for Luhnow and the Astros from 2012-15 as assistant general manager. There was no initial word that the Houston investigation involves anything from Stearns’ time there.
