A Burlington man is in custody after a traffic stop yielded several types of drugs – some not even known to police.
28-year-old Kazon Grantz was stopped around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2019.
A K9 unit got a hit on the car, and a search turned up cocaine, meth, heroin, marijuana and marijuana dabs.
Grantz also had several drugs that deputies could not identify; he told officers they were “research drugs” that he bought on the internet.
The search also turned up a digital scale, packaging material, pipes, lighters, filters, blank capsules that Grantz reportedly said he fills with various drugs when he doesn’t want to smoke or inject the drugs, 5 vials of Narcan, cookers, needles, tourniquets and cotton balls.
Grantz has been arrested and is now facing at least five felony charges.
