The Milwaukee Bucks’ meteoric rise to the top of the NBA has the team up for four possible NBA Awards to be given out Monday night.
Forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is a finalist for two awards:
– Most Valuable Player, competing against Paul George (Oklahoma City Thunder) and James Harden (Houston Rockets)
– Defensive Player of the Year, competing against Paul George (Oklahoma City Thunder) and Rudy Gobert (Utah Jazz)
Mike Budenholzer is a finalist for Coach of the Year, competing against Michael Malone of the Denver Nuggets and Doc Rivers of the L.A. Clippers.
Forward Khris Middleton is a finalist for three awards:
– NBA Cares Community Assist Award, competing against nine others
– Teammate of the Year Award, competing against nine others
– NBA Sportsmanship Award, competing against five others
